By the 1930s the Bivins Basket Factory moved to from its original location at the southeast corner of Occoneechee Street and Margaret Lane in West Hillsborough. Its new location was on the Hillsboro-Durham Highway (present-day Highway 70 Business) just southeast of Hillsborough.

1943 Sanborn map excerpt

The business was renamed Orange Furniture Craftsmen, making "novelty" and upholstered furniture. In 1940, the White Furniture Company bought the plant. The White Furniture Company's main factory and headquarters was in nearby Mebane.

Since 1991, Hillsborough's former White Furniture Company factory has been occupied by Sports Endeavors (formerly Eurosport), a soccer equipment supply company.
