Built in 1962 as the home of WCHL radio 1360AM. It was originally a 1,000-watt station.

Roland and Elizabeth McClamroch had purchased the property in April 1962 and sold it (the McClamroch estate/LLC did) in 2012.
WCHL moved out of the building circa 1997. It is now the offices for Chapel Hill Dentistry.
