This house might be an enlargement of an older structure, or it may have been built on the foundation of an older structure (the James Craig House). This is lots 19 and 20 in the 1911 Craig/Craige subdivision.

County/town records date this structure to 1917; it may be one of the older homes in the Northside community.

It was renovated in the 1990s, and now has an "awkward" rear addition, and is being used as rental property for numerous students. Another, detached structure was built behind this house in 2001 (also student housing).
