This house was built circa 1925 for Stephen Carl Forrest and his wife Carrie, on property they purchased in 1924 from the Thomas J. Freeland family [1].

Stephen Forrest died April 11, 1951, and Carrie Forrest died March 13, 1978 [2]. Their heirs/children sold the house and property to Charles J. Stone in May 1979 [3].
