1960 (freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~orangecountync/places/train_sta/train_sta.html)

Built by the Southern Railroad circa 1910, the train station last saw passenger service in 1964, with the last passenger train leaving the station on March 18, 1964.

The station sat abandoned for a number of years thereafter.

Sometime after 1973, the station was, sadly, demolished.
