I don't quite honestly understand buildings like this, which throw bits and pieces of Colonial Revival and Classicism into an oddly proportioned building with some mostly-blank spaces, like the big projecting gables. It's not a terrible building, but I'd must prefer a contemporary structure to a going-through-the-motions nod to historicism.

But at least the post office is still downtown - post offices have been suburbanizing for years, and it's great to still have one that's accessible - even walkable.
