Benton Street runs from Bellvue Avenue to Murray Street (with a jog at West Hill Ave.) Originally, street was an extension of Margaret Lane, and connected (albeit on seemingly a dirt/narrow road) south of the Bellvue Mill Village and across Bellvue Branch. On the original plat for West Hillsborough, it is called "Margaret Avenue." The connection to Nash Street was likely defunct by the 1960s or 1970s; it is still mostly passable through the woods, but not clearly a road, and quite overgrown. I'm not sure when the street was renamed "Benton."
