Benjamin "Ben" Boothe (also spelled Booth) was born in North Carolina to Shonper (sp?) and Sarah Boothe, circa 1823.

Boothe married Betsy Rogers July 9, 1873.

The 1900 federal census for Chapel Hill shows him as living in the household of Edward and Madeline Myers, working for them as a "family servant."
